Originally from San Antonio, Dr. Jacoub Hammodeh earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California.
His clinical training includes ocular disease management, low vision, vision therapy, and specialty contact lenses at the VA Eye Care Center in Las Vegas. He also completed a surgical rotation at the Hoopes Vision Institute in Draper, Utah, focusing on pre- and postoperative care for LASIK, PRK, cataract surgery, intraocular lens implants, and corneal transplants.
Dr. Hammodeh has worked closely with top refractive and retinal surgeons, managing complex cases involving ocular disease and surgical outcomes. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys traveling, fishing, and trying new restaurants in his free time.
